FAN SINCE THE VERY FIRST SHOW
Retired to the lovely Victorian village of
Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, where we live with our cat Travor. I run a tiny
toymaking business supplying local craft stores, and a tinier desktop publishing
business. Jerry happily sawing away in his carpenter's shop in the basement.
Born in Manchester Englandd in a house not
unlike those of the street. Went to Art College and started as an illustrator
and painter. Came to Canada with Practice Husband NO.1. Soon graduated
to Husband No.3, painted and taught while the children were small (Drew,
KTB and Fiona, now all grown and having produced 7 grandchildren).
After many years teaching Art and English,
fate and inclination moved me into the foodservice industry and after taking
some courses, started writing for trade publications, then worked as Foodservice
Consultant. Very active in writing and operations for twenty or so years.
Proud of an extensive collection of CS memorabilia,
tapes, books, all the mags, etc. and a fan since the very first show.
